I am a licensed social worker who provides psychotherapy for teens and adults in downtown Snohomish, Washington. I received my Master's degree in Social Work with a specialization in Children, Youth and Families in 1997 at the University of Denver, in Denver, Colorado. I have been a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington since 2001 (LW00004429).
I have experience treating a variety of issues from relationship difficulties and life stress to severe chronic mental illnesses, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders.
My practice is geared toward women dealing with the multitude of challenges that face us in our lives and our environments today. This may include dealing with symptoms of depression and/or anxiety, life or family transitions, relationship difficulties, work-life balance and many others. My approach is tailored to each individual I treat and pulls from a number of different therapies.
My practice is the culmination of 25 years of providing mental health therapy and healthcare quality improvement to ensure the best treatment for people in need of mental health care. In addition to therapy, I provide supervision to other professionals seeking licensure.
I am happy to provide a 10-15 minute call or telehealth consultation to meet and evaluate if my skills and style match your needs for care. Evidence shows, and therefore I believe that the right fit in a therapist is one of the highest predictors of a beneficial therapeutic experience. I can also help you define what you need in a therapist from our consult.
